What's the script?
We are to combine the BAGM with another SSF event at the mid-point of the League of ExSS. Being of a pleasant time of the annum (don't get excited Carter, I said annum) we (I) collectively thought a spot of golf would be most appropriate. Again this is a social game where we can spend a number of hours meandering though the countryside and undergrowth whilst partaking in a few beers and smokes. All in it should be an entertaining (but don't forget mildly competitive) day.

When and Where?
Saturday 18th July

10:00 - I say meet at my gaff* at around 10am where I shall provide bacon sandwiches and some John Smiths to get us set on our merry way. We will then mosey up to Temple Newsam golf course which is about a 5 minute walk away (IMPORTANT - that it is a walk away). FYI Temple Newsam is a municipal course and isn't the most upmarket, it is quite challenging but is also quite picturesque (not that you'll really notice). The reason I have selected this course for such a day is that there is no way on this earth will we get thrown off no matter how trousered we get - serious! Lady Dorothy is the more picturesque (or less ugly) of the two courses which I reckon we should have a stab at, click here for course details and here for course map (Lady Dorothy is the course with the green greens).

11:00 - Tee off for a round of golf whilst being social, tipsy and competitive.

15:00 - Return to mine for a barbeque, beers and the rest of the lark. For those not wishing to play golf they could join us here for food and beers. We could also conduct the Bi Annual General Meeting here. Something along the lines of - I hereby open the Bi Annual General Meeting - I'm gonna kick all your asses and will be raising the trophy high in 6 months time, I hereby close the Bi Annual General Meeting - you know, that kind of thing.

Sometime after that - Head into town for more fluids

Dudes, gonna suggest everyone putting in say £10 and a few of us can go get a big shop for meat, salad, rum, limes, rum, limes, meat, rum, limes, meat, rum, limes that kind of thing probably with a bit less salad. There are obviously tee costs on top of that, I think for 18 holes it's about £12 - £14.

Could you give me defo names shortly tho please so that I can book tees at Temps.

*Pending the lanscaping project that is currently underway at aforementioned gaff (that in fact has currently been underway for 2 years - although leaps and bounds are being experienced so I am as hopeful as a hopeful man who has been adrift at sea for 23 days after a freak yachting accident when an rescue plane flies by and dips its wings announcing on it's tannoy "Yo dude, hold tight, we'll get thee rescued pronto" (yes I am that hopeful).
